Thank you to my lovely bridesmaids (G Ma, Gcho, Janice & Natalie) for throwing a wonderful bridal shower for yours truly at Breaux Vineyards! And thank you to my equally lovely friends for showing up to celebrate with me! Again, it couldn't have been a more perfect day for some wine and sun! And Joe hooked us UP with the stretch HUMMER! What more can a gal ask for?

We took our wedding photos! We were supposed to do it the previous day, but when we woke up, it was grey and rainy. But today the sun was out, breezy, and a cool 70 degrees! Good thing too, I was worried that if it was TOO hot, Joe would be sweating through his tux. We took our outdoor photos at Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg. Joe and I had considered having our wedding there, but since we didn't, at least we got a chance to take some pics at a beautiful location!

First hiccup with planning (I'm sure more are to come). The wedding favors I ordered were not QUITE as big as I thought it would be. Actually, it's quite teeny. Returning them would incur more unncessary costs than I'd want, so it's time to get creative here.

Joe will be leaving for his bachlor party this Thursday. I already told him I will not be bailing him out of jail so he'd better behave!

We have set a date for our outdoor/studio pics for May 11. We're not too excited about it to be honest, because we are uncomfortable with trying to look serious in pictures. Hopefully Paul can get some decent shots. *Cross fingers* Wish us luck...need to hit the gym FULL FORCE until then. L.A. Boxing TIME!!!

Hotel booked for Maui! After extensive research (thank you Tripadvisor.com) and reading reviews, we decided on Four Seasons. Shout out to Hamsterdam, who hooked us up with sweet deal on Westin, but we decided to splurge a bit. It is our honeymoon, after all! I've (Annie) been looking up activities and have basically planned out the entire trip. I am working on creating a spreadsheet, complete with bulleted points of interest on Maui map. Nerdy or not, it is fun to plan!!

I decided on a different wedding dress. E Jung Studio had a new shipment in and I went to try on the dress today. I don't particulary care for the traditional wedding gown so the one I tried on was perfect. Well, not perfect. It will be once I can slide the dress over my fat hips.

In attempt to look GOOD for our wedding, Joe, G.Cho and I have joined LA Boxing in Herndon. It's no joke. Carlos (our instructure) will kick your out of shape @ss into gear! I hurt for 3 days afterwards. Now, if we can only stop going to happy hours...:)

Met with the florist. I really haven't had any clear ideas on the style of my wedding (didn't have much hope for reception area as the harsh flourescent gym lights reminds me of an insane asylum) but at least I'm getting the bouquet I wanted. Calla lilles. Yellow, white, peach, with green accents. The lillies are bit harder to handle and arrange but when it's done right, they are gorgeous.

We booked a photographer! www.paulkimphoto.com Both Joe and I agree that he's very talented and has a great eye for capturing unscripted moments. He had us at "I won't make you guys do a jump pose". Thank you Paul!

We booked our honeymoon tickets to Maui! Thanks to mileage points from United, we got them for free! Any suggestion on where to stay and what to see/do in Maui would be appreciated!
